YEP-Youth Employment Program/Volunteerism

Becoming gainfully employed is a goal for many. For the deaf and hard of hearing and deaf/blind, it poses its challenges. Our YEP promotes opportunities of employment during the summer months in addition to volunteer opportunities and paid internships that promote leadership, customer service skills, teamwork, empowerment and camaraderie between hearing and deaf, hard of hearing and deaf/blind persons. If you are interested in becoming involved with our YEP/Volunteer program, email us at info@dadfoundation.org for more information.

Praise Dance Project

Our youth centered program is designed to incorporate the beauty of sign language into the art of dance for our deaf, hard of hearing and hearing youth between the ages of 12-17. The focus of this project is to create an avenue of the Arts for the Deaf community. A dance studio along with a Film and Drama Workshop for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is the goal of pursuit for this program. Anyone interest in becoming a part of this dance ensemble, please contact us. Parental permission is required.
